How to restart cPanel manually

I frequently get e-mails when servers restart that ‘cpservd’ failed to restart.

You can have the cpanel services restarted if you logon to the server via ssh; use the command:

/etc/init.d/cpanel restart

along with the cpanel please make sure that you do restart the cpanel monitor service as:

/etc/init.d/chkservd restart
